The novel shows that despite the disparity between the rich and the poor, life happens to all and humans most often orchestrate the circumstances in their lives. From the drama that takes place in Daddy’s polygamous home, to the materialistic lifestyle of Zizi and the relationship between Ejiro, Ayodele, Oghene, Tinuke and Ugochi, a lot is seen happening in Choke Estate which is a fictional depiction of what happens in a typical estate in Lagos.
