| Proverbs 2 |
| Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Wisdom is different from Intelligence; Wisdom is spirit, intelligence can be acquired. Intelligence can scale you through the wall of classrooms; Wisdom is needed to see you through life. You can excel in Class, but fail in Life. This generation is known for high Intelligence but our conduct ad disposition towards God has made us to be fools. Today our generation is said to have sex with same gender, beast/animals, and the likes. Wisdom is found wanting so destruction has been the other of the Day. We think we can be wise in our ways hereby neglecting God and His words but we are most miserable in our dealings. This book is the second edition of the book of proverbs in the Bible mostly written by King Solomon; as a current carrier of the gift of Words of Wisdom I also make my contributions to the great Proverb written by the King which will also make people of recent times possess adequate Wisdom to scale through life. |
