| Desire has sworn off men, especially, handsome men, having escaped an abusive relationship. Sampson had sworn off relationships and beautiful women after a soul crushing embarrassment. Called ugly all his adult life, he believed no woman would want him. This two meet as Desire seeks accommodation in the small town she has decided to start afresh.
