Socio-Economic Variables as Predictors of Marital Stability Among Married Persons in Anambra State
This is an academic research, The study examined socioeconomic variables as predictors of marital stability among married persons in Anambra State. The related literature was reviewed under conceptual framework, theoretical framework, and review of empirical studies. Four research questions and four null hypotheses guided the study. The study adopted a correlational study design. The population of the study comprised 1,269,916 married persons in Anambra State. The sample consisted of 540 married persons selected through purposive sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire titled “Socioeconomic and Marital Stability Questionnaire” (SMSQ) which contains thirty one items on marital stability. The instrument was subjected to face validation. The reliability was established using Cronbach Alpha. The result gave co-efficient value of 0.80. The researcher administered the instrument with the help of the research assistants. Read this research today!
