| This volume captures my thoughts and experiences about my mother but no single book can possibly celebrate motherhood in the entirety of what it entails. Hence, in my quest to celebrate my mother and mothers in general, I asked ten friends to join me by sharing invaluable and memorable stories about their mothers. Each chapter in this volume ends with a short motherhood story from my friends as a way of further illustrating the attributes of motherhood. To the men reading this book, I hope that you will appreciate to a greater degree, the place of our mothers and every other woman in our lives. To the womenfolk, I pray that this book will help you realise your worth and how much you are appreciated. It is my hope that everyone will find this volume a great read and glean timeless lessons through its pages. |
