This is an interesting story of an innocent village boy whose perspective about life suddenly changed, when a wonderful family came for Christmas celebration in the village. To this boy, Temidire village meant the world, where sun would rise and set on daily basis. His adoption into this family gave him a new vision and leverage that prepared him for a better future. He was never daunted by stiff oppositions and his determination to weather the storm of life galvanized his enthusiasm. The author used bridge builders’ concept to illustrate how handful of good Samaritans have succeeded in helping a flock of the underprivileged people in the society He also highlighted the significance of folktale and attachment of other cultural elements, in teaching morals among the contemporary youths. |
