| The Mystery Behind Dancing |
| Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name with DANCING, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! Dancing is an expression of joy, No one can dance in sorrow, you can only dance away your sorrow. Whenever pain occurs, tears or crying will be the next action for expressing such pain. Dancing is an expression of gratitude, an art of worship to a deity. The idol worshipers dance to their idols to offer worship, we Christians also worship our God through our dancing; “let them praise His name with DANCING. However, I have come to realize that we grew up to dance at the slight sound of a beat, but I have never for once sat down to ponder on the motives of dancing nor read any book about dancing or its effects, its spiritual implications, or whether there exist a motive for our dancing or not and especially as children of God; are there some things attached to our dancing, does God have an expectation for our dancing or not? |
