| When you don't understand who you are, it will affect your relationship with God. The way you see Him will determine how and what you receive from Him. It will also affect the way you treat other people. You will give them what they deserve because you think that God gives you what you deserve and deals with you based on your performance. Lastly, it will affect you. You will carry it around the identity you think of yourself and as the book of proverbs says as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Your assumed identity will affect your character, habit, emotions, feelings and eventually your destiny. |
