Rape is commonly perpetrated on the female gender as they are the most vulnerable. Research has it that, 1 in 4 women had experienced rape in their lifetime. And 1 out of 3 girls in Nigeria have lost their virginity through rape. The purpose of this book is to outline what rape is and it's effects on the victims. It would also narrate the true-life stories of rape victims and how it has influenced them to be. Most of these victims were sexually molested at a very young age. The book would also examine the role, everyone needs to play in curbing this menace.
