Ifeanyi has had to deal with an emotionally problematic childhood as a result of her overbearing parents. As she grows into a young woman, she notices that her relationship with Mama Lucky, her mother, is yet to see any improvement—even after she becomes a christian. Even as she seeks to change her mother's heart, she is made to see herself just as she truly is and forced to realise that there is more to her mother's toxicity than it meets the eye, just as there is more to Christianity than being a nice and likeable person. Can this mother-daughter relationship be salvaged?
