Chidinma Chikwe

Chidinma is a Nigerian activist with a proven track record in sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention and response advocacy and fieldwork through which she inspires hope and resilience in women, girls and survivors. She authored her first book in 2019 titled Recolour--a memoir that chronicles her lived-experience of surviving child sexual abuse (CSA). Chidinma is also an impassioned advocate for girls and women's rights and equality, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), women empowerment, child protection and survivor support. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria and works as an independent consultant with a number of organizations that work to protect children and women from violence and provide support; engage in community mobilizations and empower women and girls.
