Emike Osumah

Emike Susan Osumah is a wife, mom and writer born to Professor and Mrs Umoru and raised in Edo State, Nigeria. With a natural attraction to literary works from very early in life, her academic journey led her down the path of pursuing a degree in English and Literary studies in Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State from 2001-2005 where she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. This was followed by her national youth service in Lagos Nigeria in March 2007. Posted to DM Audio Visual for her primary assignment, she yet fanned the embers of creative writing in the content department. It was that one year where she learnt all her hands could find on TV/Radio script writing with her time working on Loya Nourishment Time, a radio show on healthy living, Set me up, a TV game show and A- Z a TV series. In 2008, she got married to the love of her life, Architect and Pastor, Anthony Osumah. The years that followed her one year youth service period were years with a mix of settling into married life, birthing manuscripts, raising babies and freelance jobs with scripts for the LovelynClair show on the front burner. With a strong Christian background and as one with a deep love for Jesus, her flare leans more in the direction of Christian Fiction. She believes in the power of presenting the reality of the gospel in fiction in an engaging, yet edifying way. This has driven her to birthing her first book titled Love’s Winding Path, a beautiful story of love, faith and hope, told with simplicity yet with a clear message of the love and power of God. Love’s Winding Path was published by Author House ,UK and the first of very many more books to come.
