Softly Steel- A story of unlearning. This story is about Adaora Metuwa. She is a great mother and wife by her standards and that of the society she lives in. Raising her daughter ChetaChukwu with her husband Soludo. The wonderful life they had built over ten, perfect years of marriage comes tumbling down when Soludo decides he wants a separation as he’s been unhappy with their lives. Unsure of where to begin and ill-equipped for the new phase in life, Ada has to lean on the strength of her good friends Bina, Angie, Violet and her sister Buaku to get through an unexpected pregnancy, separation and health issues. Through these tests, she is forced to come to terms with some truths that she had ignored about cracks in her seemingly perfect personality.
