Kubiat Bassey

Kubiatutomobong Udeme Bassey, simply known as Kubiat, is a Nigerian poet with roots in Akwa Ibom. He considers himself a “creative,” embracing the belief that creativity allows him to embody any role. By day, he works as an English Language and Literature teacher at a private secondary school, where he inspires his students to see life from fresh perspectives. Kubiat’s poetry often reflects his unique blend of humour, introspection, and cultural pride.
