The Noble Chain is a parable, partly in a dramatic form, that tells the story of a great state called ’Kitoto’ which is blessed with both natural and human resources. Though highly populated with people of outstanding talents; it lacks leaders who could lead the people of Kitoto to actualize their numerous potential. Most of its citizens are unemployed, while many of its workers in various institutions and organizations are poorly paid. This has contributed to the many crises and strike actions in the state.
This book is a moral map, carefully sketched and conscientiously drawn to guide those aspiring to master the principles of making sound and valid moral decisions in life, especially now that immorality is becoming a celebrated norm. It is an amalgamation of different moral theories and thoughts from both the deontological(objective)and teleological( subjective)schools of morals, even as it moves beyond the limits of each of those normative ethical orientations.
