leila khalid

It is often perceived that - "living in affluence automatically equates to all-round comfort", but in reality, "life's issues" are inevitable no matter the state of wealth. Such was the life of Leila Khalid. A 28-year old lawyer whose tenth generation was secured financially. Yet, life had other plans for her. Having been diagnosed with a condition that led to losing love and suffering "Generalized Anxiety Disorder", a stranger rescuing her from collapsing may just change her life's course. Read to find out how…. .

at eight

Jolasun Idowu, a young woman who became accomplished at an early age met Ayomide Ashiyanbi; the man after her own heart and thought that all of her childhood dreams of retiring at thirty-five were coming true. Jolasun's world came crashing down when several doctors explained why she had lost her child—she had a vagina reconstruction done as a child to correct a third-degree cut of FGM. She mourned the loss for months, refusing to believe that it was anything remotely close to the explanation the doctors provided — “I have been sexually active for a long time and I enjoy sex a lot, so how is that possible?” “Are you accusing us of having anything to do with your dead child?” “Both of you killed my child and you will begin to speak now…” But little did she know that the universe had made it, so she could retire as planned while leaving her prints in the hearts of many women and girls.

friendship illusion

Are the actions of a dying person always justified? What do you do when a man walks into your life and causes you to doubt everything you believe? "I want you to remember everywhere I touch. I want you to memorize how we arouse each other. You left a thirst only you can quench." Imaabasi Uduak, a self-assured woman who had her life in order, encountered the love of her life after she reconnected with her childhood friend, Eno Iniabasi. Everything seemed fine until an eccentric couple entered their lives, and what at first appeared to be a perfect friendship harboured secrets and unspoken grievances for years. It is the story of one self-righteous woman. A broken friend. One eccentric couple. An intentional man. Their circle of friends. Love and desire. And everything in between.
