Ola Awonubi

Ola Awonubi loves to read, but throughout her life’s reading adventures noticed one thing was missing – stories of her Nigerian heritage. After 17 years of living there, the desire to share tales of the rich and vibrant complexities of Nigerian life burned brightly, and Naija Love Stories was born. “The book is the result of bringing the two cultures in my life together,” says author Ola Awonubi. Having been raised with an English foster family, but also having spent 17 years living in Nigeria, Ola discovered that although there are stark differences in the two cultures, the universal themes and emotions such of love, lust, jealousy, revenge, power and even murder, transcend any race, religion or distance. It is our human condition – no matter who we are, to be driven by raw and instinctual emotion. Ola Awonubi is the author of 7 Books including Love's Persuasion, Love Me Unconditionally by Ankara Press and more recently Lovers, Leavers and Keepers. Her next book is Historical fiction - Details to follow shortly.
