Oluwafunke Akinlosotu is the creative director of Tender Hugs Crochet Nigeria, a growing handmade children's clothing brand that specializes in making crocheted outfits specifically for newborns, infants, and toddlers. Her love and passion for children inspired her to establish this enterprise as she derives great joy and fulfillment in dressing them. She is very passionate about the early years of a child’s life, their growth, and development. She believes that every child, irrespective of their background, deserves love, care, and the right to a good life. When Oluwafunke is not crocheting, she volunteers for Slum2School Africa, a volunteer-driven organization that empowers underserved children in slums with the right support to help them maximize their potential. She is a graduate of Materials Science and Engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
