Professional Profile: An alumnus of Insead Paris, Insead Singapore and LBS – Senior Management Programme, Mr. Tope Ojo is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years’ experience in Innovative Information Technology, Customer Service Delivery, Retail Banking Operations, Agriculture and Value Chain management. Mr. Tope Ojo was Technical Manager for Networks and Enterprise Systems at Resourcery Limited - a foremost Information Communication and Technology company in Nigeria. He joined Access Bank in 2003 and rose to Senior Management cadre of the Bank. At Access Bank where he was elevated as the acting Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2013, Mr. Tope Ojo managed the entire domestic and international IT Services (including Security, Networks, Communications, Database, Core Banking System, Cards and Channels Deliveries) of Access Bank Group across all strategic business units and subsidiaries in 9 countries. Under his watch (as the Ag. Group Chief Information Officer), the Bank was awarded the Best integration of the Year in Nigeria in 2012 (as a result of Access Bank's successful and seamless integration with old Intercontinental Bank). In the course of his career, Mr. Tope Ojo has been a frequent keynote speaker at many ICT conferences and symposiums and have led many initiatives that have resulted in Access Bank receiving several prestigious awards. Drawing on his insight into technology management and ability to create highly effective IT frameworks, he effectively leveraged IT as a key catalyst for Access Bank exponential growth over the past decade which was achieved through optimizing operational proficiency via innovative use of technology. Mr. Tope Ojo currently works as an Independent Consultant with interest in Technology Innovations Services, Digital Economy, Service Delivery Excellence whilst also preaching the Gospel.
