| Terseer Sam Baki’s EUPHORIA OF SOPHISTRY which was shortlisted for ANA National Poetry Prize 2015 and emerged Second Runner Up in that category is a thought provoking and soul searching poetry collection. The poems are basically a celebration of our humanity in all its various facets of nature, creation, interaction, deception and inevitable death. In conformity with true African literature, most of the poems are didactic rather than ‘art-for-art-sake’.
