Recession is a period of reduced economic activity. The impact of this problem could be felt in many households including that of Christians. Many could hardly feed or support their families. Many have lost their jobs or means of livelihood. However, as I travelled around I discovered that many Christians are architects of their own misfortunes and I say that with sadness of heart. It can be observed from numerous pages of the Bible that there is no where we are promised a smooth economic ride automatically. In fact in the New Testament there were periods of famine and difficulties for believers. We need to study from the manual of life on how to avert economic recession so that we will not partake of it. This book is written to teach some basic principles on how to avert recession in life and I believe it will bless you.
how to get what you need right away
Christians are not of the world as the Bible says but they live in the world. We need good houses to live in, adequate and nutritious food for the body, and good clothes to wear. The questions on the minds of many people are how will Christians cope in a failed economy? How will they get their needs met? Must a Christian suffer like an unbeliever who doesn’t know the Lord? The good news is that the manual for life has answers to the questions of mankind. The bible has answers to the health, financial need, stress issues, housing challenges, jobs availability, opportunities and so many things that make life to be painful and unbearable to many. I will be discussing in this book God’s provision to meet all our needs and not only that, how we can take advantage of the Biblical truths and appropriate God’s blessings for our lives. You will need to take advantage of these truths and live them out and as you do them, your heaven already opened over you will begin to pour out.
how to receive the promises
In this book, I am using Abraham as a case study of somebody that received a definite, concise and precise promise from God. He was told that he will have a child by Sarah but it took so many years before the promise was actualized. I wanted to know whose fault it was. Why was the promise delayed for almost twenty five years? As I go through the Bible . I found out that the things of God do not automatically come to pass in a man’s life. There is a process to follow. We must all follow that process of possessing what has been promised. Abraham and Sarah had no one to learn from, so God took them through the process which I will be teaching in this book. Praise God for the written word because according to 1Cor 10:11 that the things that were written were written for our examples to the end that we should learn from them. There is a possibility of cutting down the years of waiting or totally removing them completely once we understand how the things of the kingdom work.

When God finished the creation work, He placed man in the Garden He made for him. Man was to keep, cultivate and take care of the Garden. All that man needed were there for his sustenance and maintenance. There was nothing that he needed that was not available. He was the governor of the earth with mandate to be fruitful and replenishing the earth. After the fall man lost his glorious position and Satan took over. Adam handed over the ruler ship of the earth unto Satan when he committed treason against God. However, the Lord Jesus came to restore the relationship between man and God that was broken by the action of Adam. When a man receives Jesus, he is restored unto God because now he has life of God living in him. His spirit is regenerated. In other words, all that God is now live on his inside. Instead of placing him in the garden, God put the garden inside of the man by His Spirit.
the true identity of a christian
When you don't understand who you are, it will affect your relationship with God. The way you see Him will determine how and what you receive from Him. It will also affect the way you treat other people. You will give them what they deserve because you think that God gives you what you deserve and deals with you based on your performance. Lastly, it will affect you. You will carry it around the identity you think of yourself and as the book of proverbs says as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Your assumed identity will affect your character, habit, emotions, feelings and eventually your destiny.
how to be transformed into god's intent
The world itself has given up on many individuals and have concluded that they cannot be better again or useful in life again and so the people around them write them off. But this ought not to be. People can be changed and transformed. Even Christian that behaves in a funny way can be turned into another man. If this is not possible Paul wouldn't have said "be ye transformed" It will not be fair to ask us to do what we are not capable of doing. It is because we can do it and it is possible that is why He asked us to be transformed. In this book, I will be looking at various men and women that got transformed and how it happened. I will also look at some inanimate objects that were transformed and we will know that there is nothing that is impossible. You can be transformed and the time is now.
when god interrupts a man
There are events that happen in life that the trends or course of such life happenings suddenly change and we wonder what in the world is happening. Some events would have resulted in unpleasant situations but just along the line when all hope is gone, something just happened and things changed at a twinkling of an eye. People may explain it away as just natural or just a turn of events but I have found out that it is more than that especially in the life of a Christian. As I pondered on such occurrences I discovered that it is just the way God deals with mankind, especially His children. The Bible has records of numerous such events in the life of people of God. I believe we can activate such similar things in our lives and enjoy unlimited Gods divine interruptions. It is always in the interest of His children. In this short book I will be discussing various events, people and things that were divinely interrupted and what the consequent results of them were.

God does not want us to be pinpointed in one place and be stagnated in life but rather He expects us to be making upward and forward movement all our days. How can we do that? This book will show you that God wants you to prosper and be a blessing to people around you. the principle of diy in the word
When you take authority and do things yourself there is a joy that comes to your heart like the one recorded in the Gospel book of Luke 10:17. The disciples had returned from the missionary journey and were telling Jesus the results and their encounter with the devils. The sense of joy and happiness is just out of this world. It gives you a great testimony which you can share with believers to encourage them and with the unbelievers in order to tell them about the power in the name of Jesus. Doing these things, by yourself proved that the word is working. Jesus had said in Jn 14: 12 that we will be able to do the same work He did. Many of the prayers will be unbelief. We ask God to do those things He has commanded us to do. Take for instance, a Christian asking God to help him defeat the devil and that God should not let the devil hurt him. It may sound good, but it is religious, and it is wrong. Little wonder our prayers are not answered most of the time we pray. .
god that gives life to all things
One of the attributes of God is discovered from the statement of Paul in his letter to Timothy. He was admonishing Timothy in 1Tim 6:13. He said he was giving Timothy charge in the sight of God that quickeneth all things. The word “quickeneth “is not our regular English word. It is King James Version way of writing quickens. To quicken means to give life, revitalize, rejuvenate, reinvigorate and to impart life. What Paul is saying that God has ability to give life to all things. It doesn’t matter what they are and their present status, God can give life to them. There are many Christian that have lost hope for living. Things are no longer going the way they used to be. Life is generally difficult. This book is designed to give hope to the hopeless and encourage everyone passing through rough times to hold on and keep faith. God does the unimaginable and incredible things.
dealing with issues of rejection in life
Whenever you turn to the news, you will hear news of young adults that either commit suicide or get involved in one deadly act or the other. The reason is always because they were rejected by the person who wanted to marry them or somebody failed them after promising them money or some good things. Cases like this are numerous and increase on a daily basis. As a counsellor, I discovered that many people are victims of rejection in society. However, I believe with strong counsels, you can rediscover yourself, shake away the stigma and move on. Rather than wallowing in depression over rejection, one can overcome it. The principle highlighted in this book will go in a long way to help whosoever is facing rejection, go through it and come out victorious. I believe the book will be of tremendous assistance to everyone. Sometimes we need to look inward and have deep thoughts about the rejections we face in life. Maybe we are responsible for them and we need to do something about it
praising god - no matter what
Naturally people praise God when conditions are favourable, when everything is going on fine: business is prosperous, more customers are coming, children are doing fine and at the age of 9 they are already in part one in the university; wife is doing well, husband is doing great. So we testify and we dance. Anybody can do that. When things are fine anybody can praise God. I also know of few Christians that will want to put up an appearance of praising God but their utterances expose them that this praise is coming out of gritty teeth and not from the heart. Their heart and their mouth are not congruent. However in the case of Paul and Silas, things were worse, they were beaten above measures much more than the required flogging of the Jews. They were thrown into the dungeon and feet were put in stocks and yet they could still find their voice in praise despite their conditions. This is beyond ordinary. We too can do that no matter what.
what happens after you believed in christ
When you understand the substitutionary work of the Lord Jesus, you will not pray the way that makes you not to get results; you will pray and get instant results. What being a believer gives you is a steppingstone into a world of unlimited possibilities. After you become a believer, you shouldn't remain stagnant in that fixed position but move forward to your new positions in Christ. The sad thing is that many Christians remain a "believer" all their lives. That could shock you; you may want to say but we should still be believers. You are right. You are a believer but much more than a believer. You are expected to move on and become a "havers" What are the things that becoming a believer affords you in Christ is what this entire book has come to shed light on.

Many genuine words loving, tongue speaking and Holy Ghost filled believers desperately in need of miracles. However, it seems these miracles elude them even after years of faithfully serving the Lord and with many prayers and fasting done. This is especially true of experienced Christians. However, on many occasions it has been very difficult for this to happen. Most times you see people in one position day in day out, doing the same thing year in and year out. They remain in one position economically, financially and materially wise. What could be the reason for this has always been the question in my mind? How can someone sustain and move higher the increase he has gotten? As I study the scriptures and from experiences gathered at counselling people as a Shepherd, I have come to find out factors and principles in the word of God that can make people move ahead in life and make astronomical progress in all their endeavours
when you move god moves
There are many people praying and fasting today in order to have the much-needed breakthrough in their lives. They want to break out of stagnation. There are many families, workers and a lot of God's children who are stagnated in life in one area or the other and are seriously believing God for a way out of their predicament. I believe in prayers and equally in fasting but as I study the word, I found out that as good as prayer with fasting is, there are other factors that would help man in breaking out of any stagnation he may find himself. It is not doubtful that God loves us as His children and wants us to move forward in life, but the things of God do not automatically come to pass in a man's life. There are things that man must do for him to enjoy what God has provided by grace. Our part is to respond in faith. So, our faith is our positive response to what God has done for us by grace.
